Due to the implementation of our new collective agreements and retroactive compensation, we anticipate a delay, but the employer is committed to assessing these priorities in order to address Phoenix`s damages as quickly as possible. For THE ASD initiatives, a joint committee on workforce adjustment (CEF) /Alternative Delivery Service (ASD) will be set up, which will be represented on an equal footing by the rating agency and the union. By mutual agreement, the committee can involve other participants. The CEF/ASD Joint Committee will set the rules of conduct for the committee. You do your best in your workplace and your family every day. We have gone into these negotiations to reach a central agreement that recognizes and supports it – and we have achieved results. Most of our members are covered by negotiated agreements between the Treasury Board and our negotiating partner, the Public Service Alliance of Canada. PSAC combines similar classification groups. Please note that the Board of Directors moves away from the “Table” nomenclature and identifies employees as members of the group. Standard parental leave after IE is 35 weeks to be taken within 52 weeks. Under the collective agreement, a worker is entitled to a maximum of 37 weeks of supplementary compensation. This would cover a week of waiting and an extra week. The new agreement also provides for the registration of five weeks of paternity leave under the PQ or an additional five weeks of joint parental leave under THE EI. A three-year contract will allow PSAC, as the main bargaining partner, to set the pace of public service negotiations in the next round of negotiations. The total amount of maternity, maternity and paternity leave entitled to an increase allowance is 57 weeks if both parents are employed in the public service. These include 18 weeks of maternity leave, a 32-week parental allowance and a 5-week paternity allowance.
